| Interests or hobbies: I enjoy playing acoustic guitar and painting with gouache and watercolor. | |
| Long-term Goals: I hope to eventually become part of a team working on therapeutic technologies for medical conditions. I am also interested in pursuing research investigating human quirks such as understanding what it means to be human and to understand God. | |
| My current research interests: I am currently interested in neurological diseases and the mechanisms of sleep. | |
| How I became involved in the LEN Lab: I joined the LEN Lab because I was really interested in its research goals and the current projects. | |
| What I am currently working on in the LEN Lab: I am currently working on the Social Cognition Study as well as the REM/NREM Study in which I predominantly transcribe participant interviews, time latencies of memory retrieval and score data. | |
| My experience working in the LEN Lab: I have learned a lot about sleep, religiosity, and Parkinson’s disease over the years through my work in the LEN Lab. I have gained a greater understanding of the importance of the self and how self-perception greatly influences action. Also, I have met interesting people who have inspired me to ask questions and to pursue my interests. My experience in the LEN Lab influenced me academically as well by motivating me to enroll in the courses that recently completed. | |
| How I think the LEN Lab is helping me obtain my long-term goals: My long-term goals have actually been formulated due to my experiences in the LEN Lab. So, I would say that the LEN Lab has not only provided me with valuable experience which I hope to use in the future but it has also influenced my long-term goals and aspirations. | |
