Robert Sprinkle – AVP, Research Computing and Medical Campus Technology Services
Robert “Bobby” Sprinkle, M.S., is the AVP of Research Computing and Medical Campus Technology Services for the Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC). Prior to accepting the role of Executive Director at BUMC Information Technology, Bobby served as the Senior Director of IT Research Informatics and Systems at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York where he was responsible for information technology systems that supported bioinformatics, clinical research, basic/translational science and education. Prior to that appointment, Bobby served in a number of positions at the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Fla., including Supervisor of Computational Biology, Manager of Research IT Systems, Director of Research IT and Interim Co-CIO.
Bobby holds a master of science in management information systems and a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of South Florida.
