Oncology Massage
The Oncology Massage Program offers massage to all cancer patients currently undergoing treatment at the Moakley Cancer Center as well as their caregivers and oncology staff. Massage can provide relief for patients diagnosed with cancer including reducing anxiety, nausea, pain, fatigue, and depression. Oncology Massage is gentle and supportive, devoting special attention to the unique needs of each patient.
Our massage team is comprised of skilled licensed massage therapists with specialized training in oncology massage. All of the LMTs are enrolled in the Oncology Massage Internship run through the Cortiva Institute and supervised by licensed oncology massage therapist, Cindy Gillan.
