Health Professionals
Educational programs for both conventional and complementary health professionals are critical for beginning and sustaining robust multi-disciplinary CAM research and clinical initiatives. Establishing these educational activities with a focus on the unique health care practices and beliefs of different ethnic cultural groups has been a high priority for the Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Disparities. Collaborative programs in collaboration between Boston University Medical Center and Boston-area CAM educational institutions provide opportunities for health care professionals from different disciplines to learn new skills and interact with diverse colleagues while providing clinical services to our patients.
