Acupuncture Internship
In 2009 a Clinical Rotation in Acupuncture for Medical Acupuncturists was initiated in the Department of Family Medicine. This is a 12 week CME course for MDs, DOs, and DMDs who have already successfully completed a course in acupuncture for physicians (“Medical Acupuncture” course). Eight physician participants may apply for either the Fall or Spring rotations. Ellen Silver Highfield and Lisa Spellman are the faculty supervisors.
