Senior Research Academic Day (SRAD)

Senior Residents are required to do an academic project during their third year. Choices include: a noon talk on a topic of interest, a clinical vignette or a research project. Senior residents who have submitted abstracts outlining a clinical vignette or research project are given the opportunity to highlight their scholarly work in the spring of the academic year. Grand Rounds on a Friday in May is followed by a poster presentation where residents discuss their scholarly work with faculty from the Department of Medicine. This has become a very popular and well attended event among our housestaff and faculty.
