World TB Day Symposium

Commemorating the Discovery of TB Bacillus

Thursday, 22 March 2012 – Friday, 23 March 2012

Boston University/Boston Medical Center/The National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories is honored to host the World TB Day Symposium on 22-23 March 2012 to commemorate the day in 1882 when Robert Koch discovered the TB bacillus. Sponsored by the Potts Memorial Foundation, this two-day Symposium is an opportunity for you to convene with your peers from the area and share insights and progress in the fight against Tuberculosis.

The two-day Symposium will cover advances in Global and Translational Sciences, Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment, Host Response and Pathogen Biology.
