Kim Vanuytsel Receives Appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine
We are delighted to welcome Kim Vanuytsel as a new faculty member in our section and as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Kim received a PhD at the Stem Cell Institute in Leuven, Belgium and has been a post-doctoral fellow in the Murphy lab. During this time she has made exciting contributions in the field of red blood cell disorders, recently focusing her efforts on novel strategies to treat sickle cell disease.
