I’ve submitted my application, what’s the next step?
Harrison Court availability is extremely limited. Once you have submitted an application you will be put on a waiting list. The Office of Rental Property Management will contact you when an apartment becomes available. In some cases this may be 30-60 days in advance of the move-in date. In other instances it may be on shorter notice. If you are on the waiting list it is important to be accessible either by phone or email.
Does Boston University lease any apartments other than Harrison Court?
Yes – The Office of Rental Property Management leases many apartments on the Charles River Campus which full-time Medical Campus graduate students, faculty and staff members may rent. Many Medical Campus graduate students, faculty and staff members lease apartments on the Charles River Campus and commute via the University Shuttle Bus (see transportation information). Please call the Office of Rental Property Management at (617) 353-4101 for more information about these apartments.
What is required upon move-in at Harrison Court?
Move-in costs include first month’s rent, a $500 damage and $50 key deposit. Both the damage and key deposits are held in an interest bearing account. Interest on the damage and key deposit are payable to tenants on a yearly basis (provided the lease has been carried out for 12 months or longer).
Is off-street parking available to Harrison Court tenants?

Harrison Court leases do not allow pets.
Can I sign a lease for less than 12 months?
All leases require a one year commitment. Please call Rental Property Management regarding subletting. It is a tenant’s responsibility to find a suitable roommate in the event that one is needed.
