Faculty Search in Genetics & Genomics

The Department of Biochemistry, in collaboration with the Genome Science Institute at Boston University School of Medicine, is undertaking a major expansion in the areas of Genetics and Genomics. We invite applications at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels from highly qualified individuals working in these areas. Several positions are available, and these will be highly competitive with regard to start-up funds, newly renovated space, and salary.

We seek creative scientists using cutting-edge technologies and experimental systems to address important problems in Genetics and Genomics.  Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, chromatin structure and function, epigenetics/epigenomics, regulatory mechanisms of gene expression, DNA damage and repair, stem cells and development, and cancer genomics. The position requires a Ph.D. or M.D., and relevant postdoctoral experience.

Letters of recommendation should be provided only if requested by the Search Committee.
