Hematology RESEARCH TRAINING IN BLOOD DISEASES AND RESOURCES Welcome The Research Training In Blood Diseases and Resources Program (RTBDR, suggested pronunciation “writ-bidder”; also known as the hematology research training program) is an interdepartmental program whose goal is to communicate to pre-doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows the conceptual approaches, molecular techniques, and profound excitement of current and future research in hematology. This NIH/NHLBI-supported program involves 16 faculty members representing multiple disciplines within Boston University School of Medicine/Boston University Medical Center, each of whom is an NIH-supported principal investigator directing laboratory-based research and each of whom acts as a pre- or post-doctoral advisor/mentor for students and fellows entering the program.
