Biomolecular Pharmacology

Training Program in Molecular and Translational Medicine and Biomolecular Pharmacology

Applicants with interest in the pharmacological sciences are encouraged to consider interdisciplinary training through participation in the PhD Interdepartmental Training Program in Biomolecular Pharmacology, which is supported by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). Students enrolled in this program through Molecular and Translational Medicine develop expertise in the pharmacological sciences as a result of additional courses (Molecular Neurobiology and Pharmacology, Laboratory Techniques in Modern Pharmacology, Advanced General Pharmacology, Current Topics in the Pharmacological Sciences), seminars, and research training with Training Program faculty. Applicants should indicate their interest in this program in the personal statement of their application to Molecular and Translational Medicine. Competitive applicants are interviewed with Training Program faculty and, if accepted, are considered for stipend and tuition support from the NIGMS training grant in Biomolecular Pharmacology. Inquiries should be directed to William Cruikshank, Ph.D. (Program Director) bcruikh@bu.edu Link to Biomolecular Pharmacology Training Program
