Affiliated Training Programs
Students who matriculate into the Molecular Medicine program after a first year in the program in Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB)may receive a dual degree in MM/CMB, as the first year course requirements of the programs are very similar. Students in the program in Molecular Medicine may receive training support from a variety of NIH-funded predoctoral training programs at BUSM. These include training programs in Biology of the Lung, Biomolecular Pharmacology, Cardiovascular Biology, Diabetes, Hematology, Immunology. If you are applying to Molecular Medicine and you are interested in research in one of those areas, please let Debbie Hall know prior to your visit to BUSM so that appropriate interviews can be scheduled.
