Health Insurance, Physical Examination and Immunization Requirements

The Division of Graduate Medical Sciences cares about the health and wellness of our entire student community. To ensure our students’ well-being, Boston University requires that every incoming student has health insurance and that they submit proof of examination by a licensed medical practitioner. Proof of immunization against certain common communicable diseases is also required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for all full-time undergraduate and graduate students, all full-time and part-time health science students, and any full-time or part-time international students.
