Neuroscience for Educators: Toward the Science of Learning A Mini-symposium on Educational Neuroscience...
Boston University offers an advanced instruction program for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the research sciences, utilizing a selection of web-based resources, together with four, two-hour live sessions (to be completed over two years) with group-based discussions led by faculty “facilitators” from various departments. Each session accommodates approximately 120 graduate students and post-doctoral trainees. Case studies are introduced by the session leaders, and then discussed in-depth by the smaller groups. After each discussion period, the session leaders facilitate a larger group discussion, soliciting reports from each of the groups, and emphasizing the key considerations and basic standards of research integrity.
