Grad Fair Welcomes Prospective Master’s Students

Are you considering a professional career path? Do you want to complete a Master’s degree and head directly  into the workforce, or accomplish your degree as a  step toward additional graduate study? Have you been researching post-bac programs? What are the benefits and challenges of your choices?  The Division of Graduate Medical Sciences (GMS) is the branch of the Boston University School of Medicine engaged in graduate education.  Participation in our grad fair offers you the opportunity to satisfy your curiosity about many biomedical, behavioral, and basic science degree programs.  Our masters programs , uniquely based in the School of Medicine,  include degrees such as forensic anthropology, mental health counseling,  health care emergency management, medical nutrition science and more!  PhD programs are available  in a variety of basic science and interdisciplinary fields. Our  graduate fair is designed for you to meet  faculty, current students and other prospective students  in a relaxed atmosphere so you can ask questions about program requirements, research and internship options and career opportunities (i.e. what are our graduates doing?).

Are you wondering if you are a competitive applicant? Our admissions team, Michelle and Natasha Hall, can help you.  Ask Michelle and Natasha about the application process, requirements for supplemental materials,  and deadlines for application submission.

What about financing your degree? We’ve got that topic covered!  Elayne Peloquin, Executive Director, Office of  Student Financial Services, Boston University Medical Campus, will present tips on financing a graduate education.   Her informative talk is offered from 5:30pm to 6:00pm in the Terrace Lounge.
