Clinical investigation is the fastest growing discipline in the burgeoning medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Keeping pace with the ever-increasing body of knowledge and new regulatory procedures generated by advances in clinical research is critical to career success. To meet this need we offer both an “live” and online certificate.
Offered by Metropolitan College in collaboration with Boston University School of Medicine, there are two undergraduate 16 credit certificate programs. These programs are highly flexibly, offering classes in the evening and Saturday morning. Email us at: biomed@bu.edu.
The BS in Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences program prepares students for jobs and careers in the biomedical fields, including bench research and clinical research. The B.S. degree is available jointly with the Metropolitan College.
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program is designed to promote access to graduate education for talented undergraduates from minority groups traditionally underrepresented in the biomedical sciences: African-American, Hispanic, Native American/Native Alaskan, and Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian.
Persons with an accredited bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent who do not wish to enter a degree program may apply to GMS for admission as a special student with Non-Degree Program status.
