Come to the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs Monthly Speaker Series to hear all about the initiative developed by the MassGeneral Postdoc Association, MassBioEd Foundation and local companies who partnered to provide postdocs with an opportunity to spend a day at local biotech companies to discuss career tracks within the company, network, engage in scientific discussions, and learn how to prepare for a career in the biotech industry.
Paper published by Science magazine about this program
Figuring out how to juggle any career with the non-work part of life can be challenging but for a working scientist, there never seems to be a way to do it all. The goal of this program is to give you some things to think about that could make a real difference in your success at work and happiness in general. And sometimes it just helps to meet with others and realize that you are not alone. Come to listen and share your ideas for enjoying both work and home.
