Sign–up for May Commencement is ongoing. In order to sign-up you must have submitted your diploma application. The deadline for commencement sign-up is March 13th for doctoral students and March 31st for Master’s students.
Details will come by email following submission of the diploma application which can be found on the Student Forms page. If you are graduating in September and would like to walk in May Commencement submit your diploma application ASAP.

Congratulations 2014 Graduates!
If you are planning to submit your thesis or dissertation and complete your program requirements for (September 2014) you might want to attend an ETDs Workshop to familiarize yourself with the process. These workshops will assist you in the ETD submission process and staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. There are two sessions still remaining at the Medical Campus at the following dates and times.

Masters Students Celebrate their Accomplishments!
Information session for students graduating in May 2013 will be held on Jan. 22.
PhD Candidates will meet at 12pm in room R103 for lunch.
MA/MS Candidates will meet at 3pm in Bakst Auditorium.

GMS will hold graduation workshops on Thursday January 19th for all doctoral and masters students planning on completing their degree by May 2012 .
The Workshop will provide information on GMS required forms, policies and deadlines, general information on thesis writing and formatting as well as submission guidelines.
Date: Thursday, January 19th
Who: PhD Candidates at 12:30pm in room R103 (lunch will be served)
Who: MA/MS Candidates at 4pm in Bakst Auditorium
PhD Candidates planning on completing their doctorate degree by Sept. 2012 should submit the Dissertation Prospectus Outline Approval Page by 2/3/12. This form can be found on the PhD Student forms page.
All GMS (MA, MS and PhD) students planning on graduating in September, 2011 should submit their thesis for format review after July 26th. Two copies of the thesis with signed approval pages are due to the Registrar by 3pm on Thursday, August 4th. Please see thesis submission guidelines found on the student forms page for additional information.
If you plan to complete your MA or MS degree by September 2011 you may be eligible to attend the Masters graduation ceremony on May 20th at 10am. This is a wonderful event where you can celebrate your success with your classmates and family.
If you are interested in attending graduation, students should receive approval from their program director and/or advisor and then submit the appropriate (MA/MS or MAMS) diploma application to the registrar Ms. Millie Agosto ASAP. The diploma application can be found on the GMS website under student forms. Please indicate your Expected Month and Year of Graduation as September 2011 on the application. Students will receive additional details regarding graduation later this semester
