Anti-Procrastination Workshop: Creating an IDP for your life – 2/26

WPDC has started hosting workshops to provide students with both personal and professional skills, with topics based on student interest. For our next workshop, we will be repurposing the principles behind an IDP to teach students how to avoid procrastination in everyday life. We will help students identify their procrastination “triggers”, create an easy individualized plan to overcome these triggers, and will finish with an interactive exercise designed to help students identify their personal (non-career) and professional goals. They will then determine how best to achieve their goals using the skills they learned in this workshop. It is important that students recognize the difference between personal and professional growth in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance as they get further into their graduate program and eventually their career.
