Profile:
Dr. Hughes is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, serving as a hospitalist on the inpatient internal medicine teaching service. Her main clinical interest is end-of-life care and she has developed palliative care expertise as a hospice medical director and in faculty scholar programs through Boston University’s Geriatrics Center of Excellence, Stanford’s Program in End-of-life Education, and Harvard’s Palliative Care Education Program. She directs and attends on the palliative care consult service at Boston Medical Center.
