Sharon Bak, MPH

Sharon Bak has over 15 years experience in clinical research and data management with expertise in managing multi-center academic and industry sponsored trials. Ms. Bak has been the Research Program Director for the Women’s Health Unit since 2007. In this role, she oversees the staffing and implementation of the Unit’s clinical research projects from study design to analysis. This includes developing Standard Operating Procedures; case report forms (CRFs), data management systems and quality control procedures for each of the Unit’s research projects. She is responsible for training and supervising the research team on data management procedures. Working with our statistician and analysts, she coordinates data analyses for reports, presentations and peer review journal articles. Ms. Bak received her Master’s in Public Health from Boston University with concentrations in epidemiology, biostatistics & international health.
