Global Health Scholarly Concentration Program
The mission of the Global Health Scholarly Concentration Program at Boston University School of Medicine is to develop a four-year, longitudinal scholarly concentration in Global Health for interested medical students with an established curriculum including mentorship, vetted global health experiences, and a rigorous scholarly capstone project.
Students chosen for the program will participate in the following required activities:
- Participation in monthly Year II Global Health Discussion sessions – Sessions will be led by fourth year medical students and faculty advisors who will focus on building applicable skills and deepening the knowledge base developed in Year I
- Participation in summer experience showcase – Develop research poster to present current work
- Complete a Capstone Scholarly Project – Create a deliverable (research paper, pamphlet, video resource, etc.) as the culmination of your research and participation in the concentration
