Interests:
Dr. Sentovich’s practice is devoted to colon and rectal surgery. His major areas of interest are inflammatory bowel disease, including the ileoanal pouch procedure for colitis and familial polyposis; colon and rectal cancer, including sphincter-saving procedures for low rectal cancer; laparoscopic colon surgery, and anorectal disease. His state-of-the-art anorectal physiology laboratory allows for the complete evaluation and treatment of patients with fecal incontinence and constipation.Dr. Sentovich has published numerous papers on these and other subjects. He is currently involved in several clinical research studies evaluating non-surgical and minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat various anorectal disorders.
