DNA extraction

Sample tracking is achieved through bar-coding all points throughout processing. Extracted DNA can be cryogenically stored, or tested with various molecular genetic assays. The core lab extracts DNA from multiple clinical samples including blood, mouthwash, buccal swabs, tissue samples, etc. Long term storage of the samples can be provided upon request. Preparation of plated DNA for follow up studies can also be done. Whole Genome Amplification of DNA samples also is available. We can also concentrate DNA samples that are too diluted for genotyping purposes on various platforms.
