  1. Who is the Boston University Medical Group (BUMG)?

The BUMG is an integrated multi-specialty academic group practice composed of over 1,000 physicians, non-physician clinicians, educators, and PhD researchers; dispersed over 18 clinical departments. Our members have faculty appointments at BUSM focusing on clinical care, research, and teaching at BMC and Boston University Aram V. Chobanian & Edward Avedisian School of Medicine.

  1. What are my options for backup child care?

BUMG provides members backup child care through Care.com. To learn more, register, or book care with Care.com, call 855-781-1303 or visit bumg.care.com with your employee ID!  As BU employees, BUMG members are also eligible for backup child care through Bright Horizons.  To learn more, register or book care with Bright Horizons, call 877.242.2737, or visit https://clients.brighthorizons.com/BostonUniversity or download the “Back-Up Care” app. Use your BU ID# and BU or BMC email for the initial sign-up.
