Mentoring Task Force

In April 2009 the Boston University Medical Center convened a Mentoring Task Force co-chaired by Emelia Benjamin, Sharon Levine, and Judith Jones. The mentoring task force reviewed the background scientific literature, examined internal and external electronic resources and programs, and brainstormed to design a robust mentoring program. The task force identified 3 objectives motivating developing a mentoring program at BUMC:

Objectives
1. To facilitate faculty recruitment, retention, and vitality
2. To enhance cross-disciplinary and translational collaborations
3. To develop a self-sustaining climate of mentoring across the campus

All meetings take place at 3:00 p.m. in Wilkins Board Room unless noted
