Application for the Academy for Faculty Advancement

  • What are your long-term career goals? How will completion of your proposed project enable you to better achieve them?
  • Give the overall objective of the project and specific aims.
  • Please provide an outline or table of the proposed project timeline.
  • What methods might you use to complete it? What is the timeline for executing your project?
  • What will be the deliverables or outcomes of the completed project? What milestones do you hope to achieve by the end of the program?
  • What challenges or barriers do you foresee to completing your project?
  • How will the completion of this project benefit your department, BUMC, your field of scholarship, or the community?
  • Do you have a mentor in mind? What types of expertise do you seek?
