Dr. Thea James Appointed Vice President of Mission and Associate Chief Medical Officer

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Thea L. James, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, has been appointed Vice President of Mission and Associate Chief Medical Officer of Boston Medical Center!

Dr. James will now manage Boston Medical Center’s partnerships with numerous community agencies, housing advocates, food agencies, community mental health providers, substance abuse programs, and violence prevention programs.

Dr. Ravin Davidoff, Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, cited Dr. James’ “innate ability to truly connect with our patients” and her “passion and dedication” as reasons why she was chosen for the position.
