Research Interests

Smoking Cessation. My research focuses on airway gene expression that reverts or persists with smoking cessation over a period of time. This leads to an understanding of insights into the dynamics of host response to smoking cessation and predicts the elapsed time status.

Effect of treatment on patients with COPD. My research focuses on the mRNA microarray longitudinal study of COPD patients given therapy. This will help in developing gene expression-based COPD biomarkers for disease screening, early disease detection, molecular classification, and prognostication.
