The Obesity Epidemic: Improving Practice to Provide Proactive Care Performance Improvement (PI) Continuing Education Initiative
BUSM CME has joined forces with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Osteopathic Association to offer an online performance improvement program for primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who care for adults who are overweight or obese. This program guides clinicians through a three stage process designed to help them improve the systems in their office to help better comply with guidelines for diagnosing and managing these patients.
This module is approved for 20 points of Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV Self-Evaluation of Practice Performance credit by the American Board of Internal Medicine and 20 Credits for American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Category 1 Performance Improvement (PI) CME credit.
