Target Audience

Physicians, psychologists, certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, coaches, EMTs and all healthcare providers interested in the care and treatment of concussions

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the biomechanics of concussion
  • Explain the current knowledge of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, including the neuropathology and clinical research findings
  • Outline the management of concussion, including pediatric, on-field, and office-based settings
Program Overview

This conference will provide state of the art knowledge for healthcare providers, athletic trainers, and others, by providing a balanced mix of diagnostic, prevention, and intervention topics in the field of sports-related head trauma. We will feature detailed presentations from CSTE researchers whose work on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy has recently been featured on 60 Minutes, HBO, Time Magazine, The New Yorker, the New York Times, and many other media outlets.
