Planning Regularly Scheduled Series
Boston University School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education (BUSM CME) accredits 2 categories of Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS), which are commonly known as Grand Rounds. The two categories of RSSs are GRAND ROUNDS and CASE-BASED series. Case-based Series include Case Conferences, Tumor Boards, and Morbidity & Mortality Series. The CME process for GRAND ROUNDS and CASE-BASED series is different and each series requires a different set of forms in order to receive CME credits.
An application is required for all Grand Rounds and Case-Based series that wish to receive CME credits through BUSM CME. If this is your first time applying for accreditation for your RSS, please contact our office to schedule a meeting to go over the CME process.
No first time applications will be approved without attending a brief training to learn the accreditation process.
*BUSM CME will not accredit any Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, M&Ms, and Tumor Boards that receive Commercial Support*
