Guidelines on Presenting CREST talks

In the interest of making the most efficient use of time and resources during CREST seminars when TWO fellows present during one session, below please find guidelines to be followed when preparing and presenting your talks.

Please make note of these and adhere to this new format:

  1. 10 -15 minute presentation of your project (just like at scientific meetings).  You may speak longer, but in doing so will truncate discussion afterwards.
  2. No more than a few background slides.
  3. Must have slides entitled: Hypothesis, Design, Measures, Outcomes, Analysis.
  4. Please practice in advance!   Usually 1 slide = 1 minute.

This will leave about 15 minutes for discussion for each fellow which serves as the most interesting for the audience and most beneficial for the fellows.
