“CityLab Academy opened so many doors for me. I discovered the amazing achievements being accomplished in the field of biotechnology. CityLab Academy sharpened my analytical skills and also helped me realize the extent of my scientific curiosity. Now I’m actively pursuing my bachelor’s degree at Boston University.”
Sandra completed a Semester at Sea in Summer 2009, and is finishing her B.S. degree in Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences at BU (bu.edu/biotech)

Tom Ferrante CityLab Academy, 2004 Graduate “CityLab Academy was an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on lab skills and techniques. It gave me the knowledge necessary to obtain a full-time job in a lab while going to school in the evening and working toward my bachelor’s degree. The training and preparation I received was invaluable.” Tom graduated from the Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences program in May 2009 and continues to work at Boston University School of Medicine. |
