Eligible Individuals…
Do you or someone you know fit into one of these categories?
- Any living male, age 100 and older.
- Any living female, age 102 and older.
- The child(ren) of an enrolled participant
- The spouse of a child of an enrolled participant
What participation entails:
- Participation takes less than one hour to complete. It is free of charge and travel to Boston is not required. Anyone who lives within the United States is eligible.
- We enroll both healthy people and people with medical problems including those with memory difficulties.
- We will ask for health and medical information as well as family tree information and will do a brief assessment of memory.
- Due to the genetic nature of the study, we will also ask for a small blood donation. We will pay for this procedure and can obtain it in any number of ways, including through your primary care physician or through a visiting nurse or phlebotomist.
- We would also ask for an age verification document. A photocopy of any official document bearing a date of birth is acceptable. Expired documents are acceptable as well.
