Bruker Daltonics Ultraflextreme MALDI TOF-TOF mass spectrometer

The Bruker UltrafleXtreme TOF/TOF mass spectrometry system was funded through an NIH shared instrument grant (S10 OD010724, C. E. Costello, P.I.) and installed in Sept., 2012. It is used to meet the needs of a group of NIH-funded investigators on the BU Medical Campus. This instrument is also used for imaging mass spectrometry studies. At the CBMS, a cryotome and several matrices and/or enzyme application modes are available for sample preparation.
