National Recovery Month at BMC

September is National Recovery Month, which begins with International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31. Boston Medical Center (BMC) stands alongside the millions of individuals and families who have been impacted by addiction. During the month of September, a number of events are planned at BMC in recognition of Recovery Month – to remember the lives that have been lost to this chronic condition, to reduce the stigma of substance use and substance use disorders, and to spread the message that treatment works and recovery is possible.
