Who We Are
A wide variety of academic faculty members combined, in 2002, to create the Cardiovascular Proteomics Center under the direction of Dr. Catherine E. Costello. CPC is a research institute studying oxidative stress using proteomics technologies. The faculty, true to the multi-disciplinary nature of cross-university alliances (which are spurring BUSM research grants in an era of restricted growth in biomedical research), represent the schools/departments/sections of Biochemistry, Physiology and Biophysics, Mass Spectrometry, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Cardiology, Epidemiology, and Medicine. In addition, CPC has many relationships and ongoing projects with researchers in the corporate sector. The list is here.
