Proteomics Initiative Centers
Under its Proteomics Initiative, the NHLBI awarded contracts to ten institutions to establish Proteomics Centers, bringing together heart, lung, blood, sleep, chemistry, physics, engineering, proteomics, bioinformatics, and statistics investigators. The Centers meet twice a year for proteomics research updates and discussions (most recently in Boston, April 18-19, 2007 program).
The Centers are located at Boston University, led by Drs. Catherine E. Costello and Richard A. Cohen, and at the following nine other institutions led by the following principal investigators:
