Historic Amrheins Restaurant
We want you to be part of our Symposium Banquet, which will be held on the evening of October 1. At the fabled Amrheins Restaurant in South Boston, you will see the oldest hand-carved bar in America and also on display the first draft beer pump in Boston. Amrhein’s dates to 1890, when ‘Southie’ neighborhoods were home to equal numbers of Bostonians Irish and German in heritage.
Amrheins underwent extensive renovations in 2005, but the establishment maintains its special dedication to quality cuisine and superior service. For the banquet, dinner possibilities have been scrupulously chosen, and the rate offered is discounted for our Symposium attendees.
