Creative Arts Society

The medical school community is a haven of tremendous talent, both academic and creative. The Creative Arts Society was founded in 1995 by medical students to encourage creativity and to celebrate the healing power of the arts. Although we are student-run and mainly led by medical students, we are open to all members of the Boston Medical Center community. We produce some of the largest annual events at the medical school, including Kick Back Kafe (fall), various open mic nights, and Art Days (spring), the annual BUMC art gallery sponsored by the Office of the Provost. We also produce Whorl, the BUMC literary arts magazine.
