The Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Center Ambassador Program is an organization at the local level that works to educate the community about research participation into Alzheimer’s Disease clinical trials and studies. These goals will be achieved through education and outreach events in the Boston community and through community memory screenings. The primary aim of the BU ADC Ambassador program are to (1) educate students about AD and related cognitive impairments; (2) improve students’ communication skills with elders and cognitively impaired individuals (3) educate students about culturally diverse communities (4) recruit participants for clinical trials and studies.
