Advice & Slice Meetings: How to Excel in Your Third Year
The Office of Student Affairs invites members of the rising third-year class to get advice on how to succeed in your third year by participating in an evening interactive discussion with assistant deans, fourth-year BUSM students, and a few current BMC resident. Pizza will be served!
Note: Students who participated in the first Advice & Slice meeting reported that the discussion was highly valuable!!!
Advice will be provided on how to do the following:
- Give an optimal succinct case presentation
- Work harmoniously and effectively with residents
- Understand how grading is done in clerkships
- Get noticed but not be perceived as a gunner
- Balance studying for exams with obligations to do clinical work
- Find opportunities to do scholarly work and research projects
