Advising Meals

Purpose of Meals with Students

As part of the Advising Program, Advisors are responsible for hosting two meals per year for their student advisees.

THE GOAL: To provide an informal atmosphere for students to connect with faculty and classmates.

Because the social interaction of all participants is the principal purpose of the meals, modest meals are acceptable and encouraged. The meals support the primary objective of The Advising Program: to improve the advising and mentoring of our students, and in the process, promote professional, ethical, and humanitarian values through increased exposure to our best educators and professional role models.

Each Advisor is responsible for scheduling the meals and inviting all their advisees.
