Biography

Dr. Zhichun Lu obtained her Medical degree from Inner Mongolia Medical University and her Master of Science degree in Pathology from Capital Medical University and Beijing Tongren Hospital in China. She then received residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, Michigan in 2018 and followed by a fellowship in genitourinary pathology at University of Michigan. She joined Boston Medical Center in 2019 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Zhichun Lu is board certified by the American Board Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She is also a member of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists (USCAP), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and the International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP). In addition to her primary role as a surgical pathologist, Dr. Lu retains her interest in genitourinary pathology with research interests focusing on prostate cancer and renal cell neoplasms.
