Shannon Bell, MD

Biography
Shannon Bell, MD received her medical degree from UC-San Francisco and completed her residency in OBGYN at Boston Medical Center. Her interests include the role of simulation in quality improvement/patient safety projects and resident skill development. She is an Associate Clinical Director of BMC’s Solomont Center for Clinical Simulation. She serves as the OBGYN consultant for the state Department of Corrections, seeing prenatal and gynecology patients at MCI-Framingham and South Middlesex, the two state correctional facilities that house women. Bell also created and serves as course director for a correctional health elective for BUSM fourth-year medical students.
