Biography

Scott Hadland is pediatrician and addiction specialist at Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Hadland’s clinical and research interests focus on youth substance use and improving care for young people who use heroin and prescription opioids. His work has been published in leading journals, including The Lancet, Pediatrics, JAMA Pediatrics, and Addiction. Dr. Hadland was the 2016 recipient of the New Investigator Award from the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine and has received funding from the Thrasher Research Fund, Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, and National Institute on Drug Abuse.
