Biography

I value interdisciplinary medicine, and I enjoy working closely with primary care physicians and specialists to help make the best clinical decisions for patients. As a Diagnostic Radiologist and sub-specialized Neuroradiologist, I view myself as a consultant who synthesizes the findings on an imaging study with the clinical history and exam findings to best diagnose medical conditions and in turn help facilitate optimal care for patients.

I attended UC Berkeley for my BA in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology. I graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2004 and remained at Stanford for my internship in General Surgery at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. I completed my Diagnostic Radiology residency at UC San Diego. I then moved to San Francisco for a fellowship in Neuroradiology at UC San Francisco. I joined Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara in 2011. In addition to English, I am partly conversational in Spanish.

My medical interests include pediatric neuroradiology, imaging of epilepsy and neurologic autoimmune disease, advanced stroke and cerebrovascular imaging, as well as head and neck imaging.
