Biography

Peter Ash, PhD was recently appointed as Research Assistant Professor in the Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics department at the Boston University School of Medicine. Previously, he spent five years working as a Senior Postdoc Fellow in the Laboratory of Neurodegeneration at the university and was mentored by Dr. Benjamin Wolozin. Dr. Ash currently lectures on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and has spoken about environmental toxicant-agonists and modelling TDP-43 proteinopathy in the Nematode C. elegans. He has also served as the PI for the American Parkinson Disease Association Fellowship.
